They were eventually matched with a mother in Kansas who was expecting a boy. Adam and Jenny traveled there shortly before the baby was born in February 2019, and they named him Caleb Adam Wainwright.
After caring for Caleb for more than two months, the family learned that his adoption had become legally final on April 25, 2019. His four older sisters had already welcomed him into their daily lives.
Adam explained at the time that he gave Caleb his own middle name because he wanted him to understand that he was fully and permanently their son. The adoption remains one of the most personal experiences the couple has discussed publicly.
Adam and Jenny Wainwright’s Charitable Work
Service and philanthropy have been an important part of Adam and Jenny’s public life. Their work has supported projects involving clean water, food, medical care, housing, and education.
