It is nearly impossible to build a business<\/a> as a one man\/woman. There are so many areas that need \u201cextra\u201d hands when it comes to any business.<\/p>\n

And when I say \u201cbusiness\u201d I do not refer to the multi million dollar companies here. Even small businesses that have one boss (like you) need extra hands to grow and prosper.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s say you have a business and a related website. You create content so you can reach out to your target audience, gain traction and attract potential – but you cannot go about doing this successfully on an ongoing basis on your own<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For instance, let\u2019s talk about the marketing that\u2019s involved. If you share your blog post in your social circle, and if everything stops there, the purpose is not served.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, if your friends see your update and like it, comment on it and if they share it with their friends too, that\u2019s where real marketing begins.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s say you think about creating a new product. You want to do market research. You cannot simply rely totally on software’s that will tell you what topic to focus on.<\/p>\n

If you want to create a product that would sell like hot cakes, you should create what people want.<\/p>\n

And will those lifeless software’s tell you what people want? Nope! Real people only will tell you that.<\/p>\n

And only real people will help you grow your business. Only real people will buy from you and do real business with you.<\/p>\n

Make genuine connections<\/h2>\n

Blogging communities<\/a> like DoSplash are places where you can meet a lot of people – potential people with whom you can build genuine connections.<\/p>\n

And you get the opportunity to virtually \u201cmeet\u201d them, see their work, be appreciative and help them out – this is a sure fire way to get to know people who can be a big asset to your business in the long run.<\/p>\n

And by helping each other and by being appreciative in a community you can build \u201cgenuine\u201d connections and not just quick fly by connections that are of no use to you and to your business.<\/p>\n

You get your work in front of more eyeballs<\/h2>\n

Of course! When you are an active member of a community people get to notice you. And at blogging communities like DoSplash, you also get to submit your blog post<\/a> and your work to the community. This is a great opportunity in my opinion!<\/p>\n

Your work is in front of a community where you get \u201cvotes\u201d and \u201cshares\u201d – talk about growing your business where real people are sharing your stuff and are appreciating it.<\/p>\n

Get targeted traffic<\/h2>\n

\"Get<\/p>\n

Let me say that again – targeted traffic! Yes not just any traffic, but targeted traffic that converts.<\/p>\n

Since you submit your work in appropriate categories, community members who are interested on a particular topic browse through the posts in that topic and they will find you.<\/p>\n

Since interested people click through your links, I call that targeted traffic.<\/p>\n

Search engine visibility<\/h2>\n

Now when I say \u201csearch engine \u2026\u201d I don\u2019t mean \u201csearch engine optimization<\/a>\u201d or \u201cbacklinks\u201d – please don\u2019t make that translation.<\/p>\n

What I mean here is that your story submitted to DoSplash<\/a> gets indexed a lot faster! And this is great for your search engine visibility.<\/p>\n

If your blog is pretty new it could take a while for your post to get indexed in search engines.<\/p>\n

But your story at DoSplash usually will get indexed a lot faster, which means you will still get search engine traffic<\/a> even before your post gets indexed in search engines – pretty cool huh?<\/p>\n

Discover and stay up to date<\/h2>\n

This one is a biggie for me. I would like myself to keep updated in my niche. And I cannot be Googling every time to stay updated.<\/p>\n

Of course I have subscribed to some feeds but that will give me only the news from those particular channels.<\/p>\n

Blogging communities like DoSplash, on the other hand, have a wide variety of users submitting a wide variety of stories. A particular user does not only submit their own posts but also submit their discoveries from other blogs.<\/p>\n

This gives me a wide channel to look for in one place<\/strong> – rather than me going on a hunt for industry news.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve discovered many valuable blogs and and hot news at DoSplash, personally.<\/p>\n

The news or content I discover at DoSplash has inspired new blog post ideas for me, paved way for new connections, guest post opportunities and much more.<\/p>\n
