The CASL (Canadian Anti Spam Legislation) has Phase 1 going into effect July 1 … this is going to put a massive damper on the email marketing even for people with legitimate, opt-in subscribers.

Great write. And yes, I can’t disagree with this. For me, email isn’t dead. Well, if it is dead, we would be in trouble (we as sellers).
For me, email isn’t really about building revenue but trust and relationships.
So yeah! Long live email 🙂

E mail is up and running, good stats. Businesses that will have neat data acquired through personal efforts or through double opt in will win the most.
