Brand Success and NYC SEO – What’s The Connection?

How long has SEO been around? Has it been ten, twelve years maybe?

I can’t put my hand on the exact number but I do know that SEO has been around for more or less a decade.

It has been helping and encouraging businesses to seek more opportunities in the online world and expand their marketing pursuits offline.

However, out of all the many people who try to do SEO, why do you think
only a few come out victorious?

Two words: Tactic Efficiency.

A certain tactic or method may be effective but not efficient. There is a clear difference between these two terms. Among them, you would want something EFFICIENT and not just effective.

When a strategy is effective, it means that it will work. But “WHEN” it will work, happens to be unknown.

This defeats the purpose of any marketing strategy. Effective tactics may work in week, a month, a year, or who knows how long.

It can lead to very disastrous outcomes (e.g. over preparing in advance, underpreparing when it’s time) that can damage you and your company’s reputation.

On the other hand, when we talk about efficiency, we include time as a factor. Efficient tactics take into account how long or how fast a strategy can pick up (read this).

It is effective as it is time-saving.

Given the two options, which would you prefer – effective or efficient? Not that I have to ask, though. I just know you’d choose EFFICIENT any day!

Well, like any other sane person would.

All jokes aside, today I’m going to teach you a few of the most efficient tactics up my sleeve! I’m ready if you are!

Tactic Efficiency

Keyword Optimization Is a Classic

Optimizing content with great and assistive keywords never get old. But remember, the key here is to “optimize” and not “stuff” your article with nonsensical fluff.

First of all, you have to remember that you are writing an informative article. This means that your primary objective is to educate.

If your article starts to sound like a broken track, repeating the same words over and over again, you’re hardly being helpful to the user.

In fact, you’re ruining the whole experience for them – and Google, doesn’t want that. Like, ever. Be sure to make your content easy for bots to scan but never stuffed, alright? This is the number one rule in NYC SEO.

Build Link Authority

Yes, do you know how your image is often defined by how other people see you? Well, it works the same way with websites.

The more websites regard your content as reliable and trustworthy, the more likely it is for search engines to view your website the same way.

How can they tell? Well, they can tell that you’re a popular reference for other websites when they see them linking back to your content.

In other words, you’ve got a good number of backlinks or inbound links. To be really honest with you, it’s fairly difficult to have websites link to you naturally.

It requires time and considerable amount of authority. When you’re just starting out, you have to put in the effort.

You can try messaging websites to contribute a FREE guest post in exchange for a single “do-follow” link (or a link that actually counts) or you can suggest a link exchange, wherein you agree to feature a do-follow link of each other on your future content.

Make Your Website Responsive

Lastly, when your website is too slow, lags often and just crashes out of nowhere, then users are bound to keep off your online space – for good, most probably.

You see, in this day and age, people hate everything that’s keeping them from going on about their busy lives.

You have to make sure that your website can keep up with the times. In other words, you should make it responsive – that is if you haven’t already.

This means that you have to make it adaptive for any kind of device, be it a smartphone, a tablet, a laptop, or a desktop computer.

Make it so that the website automatically adjusts to the screen size of the device. While you’re at it, you might want to create your own app too!
