The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Literacy Counsellor to join their team at the Trichy Financial Literacy Center!
This is an excellent opportunity for retired bank officers, particularly those with experience in rural branches, to leverage their knowledge and make a positive impact in their community.
What You’ll Do
As a Financial Literacy Counsellor, you’ll play a vital role in:
- Educating individuals on various financial products and services.
- Simplifying complex financial concepts for easy understanding.
- Raising awareness about consumer rights and financial frauds.
- Conducting workshops and seminars to promote financial literacy.
IOB recruitment eligibility & requirements
- Qualifications: Graduates or postgraduates from a UGC-recognized university. Banking experience will be considered in lieu of formal education if necessary.
- Experience: Preference will be given to retired bank officers, especially branch managers and agricultural officers with a minimum of two years’ experience in rural branches.
- Location: Must reside in or near the Trichy district.
- Language: Fluency in the local language is essential.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits and Compensation
- Competitive salary of Rs. 15,000 per month.
- Additional allowance of Rs. 2,500 per month.
